OUSL Computer Science Lecturer Vacancy 2026 – Colombo Regional Center

English Notice

The Open University of Sri Lanka invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Lecturer (On Contract) attached to the Department of Computer Science at the Colombo Regional Center.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a BSc Special Degree (Honours) with a class in one of the following fields:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• A degree related to Computer Science or Information Technology

Applicants must also possess:

• Good oral and written communication skills in English
• Excellent presentation and communication skills

Appointment Period

The initial appointment will be made for six months. It may be extended for a maximum period of four years based on satisfactory performance.

Remuneration

The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 70,000 together with EPF and ETF benefits.

Working Hours

Normal working days and hours are:

• Monday to Friday
• 8.30 a.m. to 4.15 p.m.

Selection Process

The university reserves the right to shortlist applicants. Only qualified shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
