1. Available Position
Instructor in Computer Technology – Grade II

2. Educational Qualifications
Applicants must meet at least one of the following qualification routes.
Option 1 – BSc Special Degree with Class
A First Class or Second Class in a BSc Special Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognised university.
Option 2 – Degree with One Year of Experience
One of the following qualifications:
- A pass in a BSc Special Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; or
- A First Class or Second Class in a BSc General Degree with Computing as a subject component.
And: At least one year of experience in Computing.
Option 3 – Degree with Two Years of Experience
One of the following qualifications:
- A pass in a BSc General Degree with Computing as a subject component; or
- A First Class or Second Class in a BSc General Degree without Computing as a subject component.
And: At least two years of experience in Computing.
Option 4 – General Degree with Three Years of Experience
A pass in a BSc General Degree without Computing as a subject component.
And: At least three years of experience in Computing.
Option 5 – Other Degree with Postgraduate Diploma
Any other degree, together with:
- A Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Technology from a recognised university; and
- At least one year of experience in Computing.
3. Salary and Selection
Salary Code: U-AS 2 (II)
Advertised Salary Scale:
Rs. 85,305 – 3 × 2,400 – Rs. 92,505 (EB) – Rs. 94,905 – 14 × 2,400 – Rs. 128,505 per month.
Effective Reference Date: 01 January 2027.
In addition to the applicable basic salary, the university states that Cost of Living Allowance and other approved allowances will be paid.
