🎓 Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess:
- A Degree in Dental Surgery from a recognized university.
- Full registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council.
- At least four years of experience as a Dental Practitioner.
💰 Salary & Allowances
The salary scale for the post is:
Rs. 93,805 – 20 × Rs. 2,940 – Rs. 147,205 per month
In addition to the above salary, MCA Allowance and Cost of Living Allowance will also be paid in accordance with Commission Circular No. 2/2025 dated 01 April 2025.
💼 Benefits
The appointee will contribute 10% of the monthly salary to the Universities Provident Fund.
The University will contribute:
- 8% to the University Pension Scheme
- 7% to the University Provident Fund
- 3% to the Employees Trust Fund
🏖️ Sabbatical Leave
The holder of the Dental Surgeon post is eligible, subject to the provisions of applicable UGC circulars, for:
One year of sabbatical leave with full pay or two years of leave without pay after completing seven years of service.
