Applicants should possess a BSc Degree or BSc (Hons) Degree in one of the following fields or a related undergraduate discipline:

- Botany
Candidates awaiting their final results may also apply.
Salary and Allowances
The successful candidate will receive:
- Fixed monthly salary of Rs. 68,145
- Cost-of-living allowance of Rs. 17,800
- Other allowances approved by the University Grants Commission
The applicable salary code is U-AC 1.
Service Requirement
Selected candidates are required to serve for a minimum period of six months after assuming duties.
