Educational Qualifications
Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:
Option 01
A National Certificate in Technology (NCT) or an equivalent qualification with three years of relevant experience.
The required experience may have been obtained while following the NCT course.
Option 02
G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination qualifications in six subjects obtained at not more than two sittings, together with at least five years of experience as a Supervisor in the relevant field.
The experience should have been obtained at one of the following:
- Government institution
- Local government institution
- State corporation
- Recognized engineering establishment
Additional Skills Required
Applicants should possess knowledge and experience in:
- Preventive maintenance of electrical systems, equipment and installations
- Maintenance of generators and powerhouses
- Maintenance of pump houses and plumbing systems
- UPS maintenance
- Fire detection and protection systems
- Routine electrical inspections
- Troubleshooting and rectification work
- Electrical safety standards and safe working practices
- Preparation of BOQs and material estimates
- Preparation of technical specifications
- Electrical drawings and Single Line Diagrams
- Three-phase wiring and electrical systems
- AutoCAD and other relevant software
General Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be citizens of Sri Lanka
- Be between 18 and 45 years of age on the closing date
- Be of good character
- Be in sound physical health
Salary
The monthly salary applicable to the position is Rs. 68,895, inclusive of the basic salary and cost-of-living allowance.
Other Benefits
The following benefits are applicable:
Universities Provident Fund
The employee will contribute 10% of the salary, while the employer will contribute 15%.
Employees’ Trust Fund
The employer will contribute 3% of the salary to the Employees’ Trust Fund.

Recruitment will be conducted through an interview.
