The Certificate Course in Computer Applications covers:

Microsoft Office
Computer Hardware
Graphic Design
Internet and Email
Cyber Security
Mathematics for Information Technology
Web Design

Entry Qualifications

Applicants should satisfy the following requirements:

Passed six subjects at the GCE Ordinary Level Examination

Possess another similar qualification accepted by the Institute

Applicants should also be above 16 years of age.

Course Duration

The programme will be conducted for six months, covering a total of 120 learning hours.

Final examinations for all study groups will be conducted at the Institute of Human Resource Advancement, University of Colombo.

Course Fee

The course fee is LKR 30,000.

The course fee is non-refundable.

Available Study Groups

Group 1 – Sunday Morning

Time: 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Delivery: Physical Classes

Group 2 – Sunday Evening

Time: 1.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Delivery: Physical Classes

Group 3 – Tuesday

Time: 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Delivery: Physical Classes

Group 4 – Online

Days: Saturday and Sunday
Time: 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Delivery: Online Classes

Applicants should select the most suitable group when completing the online application.

How to Apply

Step 1 – Complete the Online Payment

Visit the official IHRA application page and use the Online Payment Registration Link and Online Payment Link to complete the course payment.

Step 2 – Submit the Relevant Google Form

Select the preferred study group and complete its relevant Google Form:

Sunday Morning Group
Sunday Evening Group
Tuesday Group
Online Group

Completing both the online payment and the relevant Google Form is compulsory to confirm registration.

Application Deadline

Online payment and Google Form submission must be completed on or before 21 September 2026.
