Higher Diploma in Counselling Psychology 2027

The Institute of Human Resource Advancement (IHRA), University of Colombo, is now accepting applications for the Higher Diploma in Counselling Psychology (HDCP) – Intake 2027.

This programme is designed for individuals who wish to refine their counselling practice, formalize their practical experience and develop advanced knowledge and professional competencies in counselling psychology.

Entry Qualifications

Applicants should satisfy one of the following entry requirements:

Passed the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination with accredited work experience;

Completed accredited prior learning through a relevant programme of study equivalent to a minimum of 30 credits, together with accredited work experience.

Applicants should also possess:

Demonstrated competence in the relevant field and potential for future career development; and
Good working knowledge of the language of instruction used in the Higher or Executive Diploma programme.
