🎓 Educational / Professional Qualification
Applicants must have been sworn in as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
💼 Experience
Applicants must satisfy one of the following experience requirements:
- At least three (03) years of active professional experience as an Attorney-at-Law after being sworn in as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court.
OR
- At least three (03) years of experience in a legal position in a government institution after being sworn in as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court.
Relevant documents must be provided to prove the required professional experience.
🎂 Age Limit
Applicants must be:
- Not less than 21 years of age
- Not more than 45 years of age
The age requirements should be satisfied as at the closing date.
💰 Salary Scale
Rs. 82,150 – 10 × 2,400 – 8 × 2,940 – 17 × 3,900 – Rs. 195,970
Salary Code: SL1-2025
The salary scale is applicable according to the provisions of Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025 dated 25 March 2025.
📌 Conditions of Appointment
The post is permanent and pensionable.
The appointment will be subject to a three-year probation period.
The selected candidate must also satisfy the relevant government language proficiency and other public service requirements specified in the official notice.
📝 Selection Method
Qualified applicants will be selected based on the results of a Merit Assessment Interview conducted by an interview board appointed by the Public Service Commission.
The assessment includes areas such as:
- Additional educational qualifications
- Additional professional experience
- Language proficiency
- Knowledge of Information Technology / Information Technology Law
- Competencies demonstrated at the interview
