🎓 Qualifications and Experience
1. Chief Engineer – Civil / M&E
Applicants must satisfy one of the specified qualification and experience pathways, including:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree with Associate Membership or equivalent professional qualification and at least 08 years of managerial experience; or
- Corporate Membership or equivalent professional qualification with at least 06 years of managerial experience; or
- Eligible Class I government All-Island Service status, relevant professional membership and at least 02 years of experience in the relevant grade.
2. Engineer – Civil / M&E
A relevant Bachelor’s Degree or UGC-recognized equivalent qualification, together with Associate Membership or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognized professional body.
3. Quantity Surveyor
Relevant degree or recognized equivalent with professional membership and at least 06 years of relevant experience, or the alternative government-service qualification and experience pathway specified in the advertisement.
4. Project Accountant
Applicants must satisfy one of the prescribed degree, professional accounting membership or government-service qualification pathways, together with the applicable experience requirements.
5. Engineering Assistant – Civil / Electrical
Applicants should possess one of the following relevant technical qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or recognized equivalent; or
- NVQ Level 7 or above; or
- NVQ Level 6 with at least 03 years of relevant experience; or
- NVQ Level 5 with at least 06 years of relevant experience.
6. Project Secretary
Relevant O/L and A/L qualifications with secretarial training and at least 03 years of experience, or Chartered Secretary qualification with at least 03 years of relevant experience.
7. Accounts Clerk
One of the specified accounting qualifications, including the first examination of CASL/CIMA/ACCA, second examination of HNDA, CMA, or full AAT qualification, subject to the stated NVQ requirement.
8. Management Assistant
Applicants should possess:
- G.C.E. O/L: Six subjects in one sitting, with four credit passes including Sinhala/Tamil, English and Mathematics.
- G.C.E. A/L: Passes in three subjects other than General English.
- A recognized Diploma in Computer Studies or English of at least six months’ duration, or equivalent qualification.
📋 Terms of Appointment
Appointments will initially be made on a one-year project contract, with possible annual renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
