The Open University of Sri Lanka invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for permanent Lecturer and Senior Lecturer positions at the Centre for Educational Technology and Media (CETMe), Colombo Regional Centre.

- Lecturer (Unconfirmed)
- Senior Lecturer Grade II
- Senior Lecturer Grade I
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a relevant Bachelor’s Honours or Special Degree specialising in ICT, Multimedia, Education, Science or another acceptable related field.
Depending on the position, applicants may also be required to possess one of the following:
- A PhD in Educational Technology
- A recognised Master’s Degree in Educational Technology with an appropriate research component
- An equivalent postgraduate qualification approved by the University Grants Commission
- Relevant university teaching, professional, research or postgraduate experience
Experience Requirements
- Lecturer (Probationary): Applicants must satisfy the specified academic requirements and make a presentation before the selection committee.
- Lecturer (Unconfirmed): Relevant experience of less than six years, together with the required postgraduate qualification.
- Senior Lecturer Grade II: At least six years of relevant experience.
- Senior Lecturer Grade I: At least twelve years of relevant experience, including six years after obtaining the required postgraduate qualification.
Salary Scales
- Lecturer (Probationary): Rs. 94,400 – 118,400
- Lecturer (Unconfirmed): Rs. 121,340 – 136,040
- Senior Lecturer Grade II: Rs. 138,980 – 171,320
- Senior Lecturer Grade I: Rs. 160,520 – 187,820
Applicable academic allowances, cost-of-living allowances and other approved allowances will be paid in addition to the salary.
