🎓 Qualifications

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

1. Degree / Professional Qualification

A Degree with First or Second Class (Upper Division)

Approved professional qualifications.

AND

2. Postgraduate Research / Published Research

Applicants should possess a postgraduate research degree or published research of exceptionally high quality relevant to the field of Educational Technology.

AND

3. Professional Experience

At least fifteen (15) years of experience in the field of Educational Technology after obtaining the first degree.
Applicants should have been involved in projects, programmes or policies connected with Educational Technology in recognized institutions.

📌 Special Note

A person of exceptional merit who does not possess the above qualifications, but is considered eminently suitable for other reasons, may be appointed with the prior approval of the Commission.

💰 Salary Scale

Rs. 181,730 – 3×3,900; 11×4,850 – 246,780 p.m.
[U-EX 3(I)]

The above salary scale will be fully operative with effect from 01 January 2027.

The salary placement applicable to the post for 2026 will be made in accordance with University Grants Commission Circular No. 02/2025 (i) dated 04.04.2025.

🎁 Benefits

Permanent appointees will become contributors to the Universities Provident Fund.

Employee Contribution to UPF: 10% of monthly earnings
University Contribution to UPF: 7%

In addition, permanent appointees will become contributors to:

Employees’ Trust Fund – University Contribution: 3%
University Pension Scheme – University Contribution: 8%
