🎓 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should possess:
- A Degree from a recognized University; and
- The ability to programme computers in one or more languages.
An alternative qualification route is available for internal candidates who have worked in the Computer field in the University System as at 28 March 1989.
Under this route, candidates should have:
- Passed the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) Examination in six subjects at not more than two sittings, with three Credit Passes in Science subjects, two of which should be Mathematics and Physics.
- Successfully completed one or more courses in Digital Computer Programming.
- Five years of experience in Computer work, including at least three years in Computer operation.
- Three years of experience in computer programming and the ability to write Digital Computer Programmes in RPG and FORTRAN.

💰 SALARY SCALE
Rs. 81,285 – 19×1,240 – 104,845 p.m.

The above salary scale will be fully operative with effect from 01 January 2027.
The salary placement applicable to the post for 2026 will be made in accordance with University Grants Commission Circular No. 02/2025 (i) dated 04.04.2025.
The selected candidate will also be eligible to receive other allowances applicable to the post.
