Open University Project Assistant Vacancies 2026 – Walk-in Interview

The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) has announced a Walk-in Interview to recruit suitably qualified candidates for the post of Project Assistant (On Contract) at the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences.

A total of two (02) vacancies are available. Candidates with a recognized Bachelor’s Degree, communication skills, administrative abilities and relevant computer skills are encouraged to attend the interview.

🎓 Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.

Candidates should also possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Ability to communicate in English and Sinhala or Tamil.
  • Ability to handle correspondence in English.
  • Ability to handle administrative work.
  • Ability to undertake scheduling and coordination work.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.

📑 Appointment Period

Appointments will initially be made for a period of six (06) months.

The appointment may be extended for a period of up to two years based on performance.

💰 Monthly Allowance & Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly allowance of:

Rs. 40,000

The above amount is inclusive of the Cost of Living (COL) allowance.

Selected candidates will also be entitled to:

  • EPF
  • ETF
