Operation Assistant Vacancy 2026
The Faculty of Engineering Technology of the Open University of Sri Lanka invites suitably qualified candidates to attend a walk-in interview for the Post of Operation Assistant on contract.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:
- Six passes at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in one sitting, including English Language.
Or
- NVQ Level 04 qualification.
Required Skills
Applicants should possess:
- The ability to assist with office duties and support the activities of the division.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, when required.
- Knowledge of general office work.
Previous working experience and knowledge of office procedures will be considered added advantages.
Preference will be given to male applicants from the Colombo District.
Appointment Period
The appointment will initially be made for six months and may be extended for a maximum period of two years based on performance.
Remuneration and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive:
- A fixed monthly allowance of Rs. 30,000, inclusive of the cost-of-living allowance.
- EPF and ETF benefits.
