OUSL Academic Coordinator Vacancy 2026
The Open University of Sri Lanka invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Academic Coordinator on a full-time contract basis at the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Management Studies.
The selected candidate will support the academic and administrative functions of the Faculty of Management Studies.
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas:
- Management
- Administration
- Marketing
- Commerce
- Accounting
- Human Resource Management
- Management Information Systems
- Another management-related field
Applicants must also possess at least one year of relevant work experience.
Applications from candidates whose academic qualifications are from areas unrelated to management will not be considered.
Additional Advantages
Preference may be given to candidates who possess:
- Experience in academic or administrative work
- Knowledge of Moodle or similar learning management platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to work flexible hours according to Faculty requirements
- Fluency in English and Sinhala
- Proficiency in Tamil
Appointment and Allowance
The initial appointment will be for six months. It may be extended for a maximum period of two years based on satisfactory performance.
The selected candidate will receive a fixed gross monthly allowance of Rs. 50,000, together with EPF and ETF contributions.
