The Center for IT Education Services (CITES) of The Open University of Sri Lanka has invited online applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Academic Coordinator on a contract basis.
The appointment will initially be offered for six months and may be extended for up to two years based on the candidate’s performance.

Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- Computing
- Electronic and Communication Engineering with a specialization in:
- Computer Security
- Information Security
- Cybersecurity
- Mobile Application Development
Applicants must also possess at least one year of relevant experience.
Added Qualifications
The following experience will be considered an added qualification:
- Experience in Open and Distance Learning
- Experience in academic administration
Appointment Period
The appointment will initially be made for a period of six months.
The appointment may be extended for up to two years depending on the performance of the selected candidate.
Monthly Allowance
The selected candidate will receive a fixed monthly allowance of:
Rs. 50,000
This amount is inclusive of EPF and ETF contributions.
Selection Process
The Open University of Sri Lanka reserves the right to shortlist applicants.
Only qualified shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview. The decision of the University will be final and conclusive.
