🎓 Educational Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Youth Studies
- Social Work
- Psychology
The degree should carry a First Class or Second Class Upper Division, or the applicant should possess a higher qualification from a recognized university.
🗣️ English Language Requirements
Applicants should have:
- The ability to teach in English.
- The ability to develop lesson materials in English.
- Fluency in spoken English.
💻 Additional Preferences
Preference will be given to candidates familiar with:
- Open Distance Learning (ODL)
- Information Technology (IT)
🏢 Work Location
The selected candidate must be available to work full-time at the Colombo Regional Centre of the Open University of Sri Lanka, Nawala.
📋 Appointment Duration
The appointment will initially be for six months.
The contract may be extended for up to two years, depending on performance.
💰 Remuneration and Benefits
Fixed Monthly Allowance: Rs. 62,000, inclusive of the Cost of Living allowance.
The selected candidate will also be entitled to EPF and ETF benefits.
