Project Assistant Vacancy 2026
The Open University of Sri Lanka invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Project Assistant on a contract basis in its Supplies Division.
The successful candidate will initially be appointed for six months. The appointment may be extended for a period of up to two years based on performance.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess the following qualifications and abilities:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university.
- Ability to communicate in Sinhala and English.
- Ability to handle official correspondence in English.
- Proficiency in computer literacy.
- Ability to perform administrative work.
- Ability to manage scheduling and coordination duties.
Appointment Period
The appointment will initially be made for a period of six months.
It may be extended for up to two years based on the selected candidate’s performance and the requirements of the university.
Monthly Remuneration
The selected candidate will receive:
- Fixed monthly allowance of Rs. 40,000
- Cost of Living allowance included in the monthly payment
- EPF entitlement
- ETF entitlement
