Temporary Research Assistant Vacancy at OUSL
The Department of Psychology and Counselling, Faculty of Health Sciences of the Open University of Sri Lanka, invites applications from enthusiastic and suitably qualified individuals for the post of Temporary Research Assistant.
The selected applicant will contribute to a quantitative research project conducted by the department.
Research Location
Data collection for the research project will be conducted within the Western Province.
Applicants should therefore have convenient access to the study locations and be able to participate in the required data-collection activities.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized university:
- B.A. Honours or Special Degree in Psychology, Social Sciences or Statistics
- B.Sc. Honours or Special Degree in Psychology, Social Sciences or Statistics
Additional Requirements
- Fluency in Sinhala and English is essential.
- Previous experience in data collection and analysis for quantitative research projects will be considered an advantage.
- Applicants should be interested in developing a strong foundation in academic and professional research.
Monthly Allowance
The selected Research Assistant will receive a fixed monthly allowance of LKR 30,000.
