Applicants applying for more than one position must submit a separate application for each post.

Required Qualifications

Agricultural Biology

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications, with or without a class:

  • BSc Honours in Agriculture
  • BSc Honours in Agricultural Resource Management and Technology
  • BSc Honours in Green Technology
  • BSc Honours in Agricultural Sciences and Management
  • BSc Honours in Agricultural Technology and Management
  • Bachelor of Biosystems Technology Honours in Agriculture
  • Bachelor of Agro-Technology Honours specialising in Agricultural Biology

Teaching experience in Agricultural Biology or Biotechnology-related subjects will be preferred.

Agriculture Economics and Extensions

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications, with or without a class:

  • BSc Honours in Agriculture
  • BSc Honours in Agricultural Resource Management and Technology
  • BSc Honours in Agricultural Sciences and Management
  • BSc Honours in Agricultural Technology and Management
  • Bachelor of Biosystems Technology Honours in Agriculture
  • Bachelor of Agro-Technology Honours specialising in Agriculture Economics and Extensions

Teaching experience in Agriculture Economics and Extension-related subjects will be preferred.

Food Science and Technology

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications, with or without a class:

  • BSc Honours in Agriculture specialising in Food Science
  • BSc Honours in Food Science and Technology
  • Bachelor of Biosystems Technology Honours in Food Technology
  • BSc Honours in Agricultural Resource Management and Technology
  • BSc Honours in Agricultural Sciences and Management
  • BSc Honours in Agricultural Technology and Management
  • Bachelor of Agro-Technology Honours specialising in Food Science and Technology

Teaching experience in Food Science-related subjects will be preferred.

An MPhil or MSc qualification will be considered an added advantage for all three positions.

Salary and Selection

The fixed monthly salary is Rs. 85,305, under Salary Code U-AC 2, together with other approved allowances applicable from 1 January 2026.

Candidates will be selected through an interview.
