Temporary Project Coordinator
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any field from a UGC-approved university or a recognized Higher Education Institution.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in community-based health-related projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing project plans, timelines and schedules.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project team members.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and the project team.
- Maintain project documentation and report progress and project-related issues to the Project Lead.
- Undertake Community Health Worker duties when necessary.
- Perform other relevant duties assigned by the Project Lead.
Salary & Allowance
💰 Monthly Salary: LKR 39,130
🚗 Travelling Allowance: LKR 10,000 per month
Temporary Community Health Workers
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Have experience in community-based health-related projects.
- Are currently pursuing or have completed training or courses related to promoting the health and well-being of communities and families.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support healthcare providers.
- Assist with health education, patient follow-ups and preventive care.
- Support initial assessments, basic medical procedures and chronic-condition management where applicable.
- Collect and document health-related data and community health needs.
- Report relevant information to the Project Lead through Project Coordinators.
- Support health education and health-promotion activities.
- Assist with health awareness campaigns and workshops.
- Distribute educational materials and resources.
- Perform other relevant duties assigned by the Project Lead.
Salary
💰 Monthly Salary: LKR 32,608
General Requirements
Applicants should:
- Be citizens of Sri Lanka.
- Be between 18 and 45 years of age.
- Possess excellent Tamil language skills.
- Be able to undertake field work in any part of the Northern Province.
All selected candidates will be appointed full-time on a contract basis for one year.
Selected candidates will contribute 8% of their monthly salary to EPF. The employer will contribute 12% to EPF and 3% to ETF.

A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100 must be paid according to the payment instructions provided by the University of Jaffna.
