The applicable cost-of-living, compensatory, academic and research allowances will be paid in addition to the basic salary, subject to the relevant university and government circulars.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted using the prescribed application form available from:
- The official Wayamba University website;
- The Academic Establishments Branch on working days between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.; or
- By sending a request letter with a self-addressed stamped envelope measuring 23 × 10 cm.
The completed application should be submitted with copies of the following documents:

- Other relevant supporting documents

Important Instructions
- Applicants applying for more than one department or position must submit separate applications under separate covers.
- The three positions listed under the Dean’s Office must also be applied for separately.
- Permanent employees of universities, government departments, corporations and statutory boards should submit applications through their respective institutional heads.
- An advance copy should also reach the Registrar on or before the closing date.
- Incomplete, late or incorrectly prepared applications will be rejected.
- The University reserves the right to shortlist applicants and invite only shortlisted candidates for interviews.
