Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

A Special Degree in English or Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)

A degree with English or TESL as a subject

A Higher National Diploma in English or an equivalent qualification with a minimum course duration of two years from a recognized university or higher educational institution

Preference will be given to graduates with previous experience in English language teaching.

Age Limit

Applicants should be between 24 and 55 years of age.

Appointment Period and Working Hours

This is a temporary appointment for a period of 03/06 months.

The selected instructor will be required to work from 8.30 AM to 4.30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Teaching duties will be conducted at both the Kuliyapitiya and Makandura premises of Wayamba University.

Salary

The applicable all-inclusive monthly salaries are:

Graduate: Rs. 79,916
Non-Graduate: Rs. 49,546
