The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka has released the results of the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination 2026.
The examination was conducted on 09 August 2026, and the results were officially released on 02 September 2026. Candidates can now check and download their results online using their examination index number.

Candidates can check their results through either of the following official websites:
Enter the correct examination index number to view the result. The result sheet can also be downloaded and printed through the online system.
Scholarship Information
A total of 20,000 scholarships are available under the examination.
Out of this total, 250 scholarships have been allocated to candidates with special needs.
According to the official announcement, 56,000 candidates have obtained marks equal to or above the relevant district and medium-based cut-off marks.
Results for Schools
School principals can download school-level examination results through the Department of Examinations’ online institutional portal using the username and password provided to the school.

Provincial and Zonal Education Officers can also obtain the relevant results through the online system.
Result Re-scrutiny
The Department of Examinations will provide an online opportunity to apply for result re-scrutiny.
