1. Administrative Officer – 01 Vacancy
Educational Qualifications – External Applicants
A degree recognized by the University Grants Commission in one of the following fields:
- Human Resource Management
- Commerce
- Public Administration
- Public Management
- Management
Internal Applicants
Internal applicants must satisfy either of the following:
- Meet the qualifications prescribed for external applicants.
- Have completed at least five years of satisfactory service in a relevant Grade II position in the Management Assistant – Non-Technical (MA 1) category.
Salary
Basic Salary until 31 December 2026: Rs. 65,633
Salary Scale effective from 01 January 2027:
JM 1-1 – Rs. 72,650 to Rs. 122,970
2. English Instructor – 02 Vacancies
Educational Qualifications – External Applicants
Applicants must satisfy one of the following pathways.
Pathway 1 – Degree
A recognized Bachelor of Arts degree in English Teaching or a degree in English.
Pathway 2 – NVQ Level 6
- An English proficiency certificate at NVQ Level 6 or above issued by a vocational training institution recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission.
- At least five years of relevant experience after obtaining the qualification in a government institution, state corporation, board or statutory institution.
Pathway 3 – NVQ Level 5
- An English proficiency certificate at NVQ Level 5 or above issued by a recognized vocational training institution.
- At least ten years of relevant post-qualification experience in the specified public-sector institutions.
Internal Applicants
Internal applicants must meet the external applicant qualifications.
Salary
Basic Salary until 31 December 2026: Rs. 58,598
Salary Scale effective from 01 January 2027:
MA 4 – Rs. 64,320 to Rs. 113,170
🎂 Age Requirements
Applicants must be between 22 and 45 years.
The maximum age limit does not apply to internal applicants.
📋 General Conditions
Applicants must:
- Be citizens of Sri Lanka.
- Be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties and serve anywhere in Sri Lanka.
- Make EPF contributions according to government-approved rates.
- Complete a three-year probationary period.
The appointments are subject to the National Institute of Social Development Act, No. 41 of 1992, and applicable government regulations.
📝 Selection Procedure
Selection will be conducted through a structured interview.
The interview assessment carries a maximum of 100 marks:
