Technical Officer – Audio Visual

Applicants should have passed three subjects at the GCE Advanced Level Examination in one sitting.

They should also possess an acceptable NVQ Level 5 or higher technical qualification in a relevant field such as:

  • Electronics and Telecommunication
  • Electronics
  • Multimedia
  • Audio-Visual Technology

Applicants possessing a relevant university diploma or an equivalent technical qualification recognized by the appropriate authority may also be considered according to the conditions in the official advertisement.

Salary scale: Rs. 51,095 – 60,575

Works Supervisor – Electrical

Applicants may qualify through a National Certificate in Technology or an equivalent qualification with the required experience.

Alternatively, applicants with the specified GCE Ordinary Level qualifications and at least five years of relevant supervisory experience may apply.

Public Health Inspector

Applicants should have passed the Public Health Inspectors Examination conducted by the Department of Health.

Library Information Assistant

Applicants should satisfy the GCE Ordinary Level and Advanced Level requirements specified in the official advertisement.

Preference will be given to applicants possessing relevant qualifications and experience in Library and Information Science.

Driver

Applicants should satisfy the prescribed GCE Ordinary Level and Advanced Level requirements.

The general requirements include the stipulated passes in:

  • Sinhala or Tamil Language
  • English Language or English Literature
  • Mathematics

Applicants should also possess the required computer-application qualification and relevant experience.

Management Assistant – Shroff

Applicants should possess the specified accountancy qualification.

Management Assistant – Storekeeper

Applicants should possess relevant qualifications or experience in storekeeping or warehouse management as specified in the advertisement.

Age Requirements

For positions 1–8, applicants should be:

  • Not less than 18 years
  • Not more than 45 years
