Nature of Appointment
The appointment is permanent.
Selected candidates will be entitled to Employees’ Provident Fund and Employees’ Trust Fund benefits.
Salary Scale
The applicable monthly salary scale is:
Rs. 53,175 – 10×1,375 – 15×1,910 – Rs. 95,575

Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:
Option 1 – Degree
A degree in Homoeopathic Medicine obtained after completing a degree programme of not less than five and a half years at a local or foreign university recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
Option 2 – Diploma and Experience
A full-time diploma in Homoeopathic Medicine of not less than four years from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka;
AND
Three years of professional experience obtained after completing the diploma.
Internship and Professional Registration
Applicants must have completed at least one year of internship training.
They must also be registered as Homoeopathic Physicians with the Homoeopathic Medical Council.
Clinical Experience
Applicants should possess at least one year of professional experience in medical clinical practice at a local or foreign hospital, institution or clinic.
Experience should be established through a patient register and confirmation bearing the official seal of the head of the relevant institution.
Where the applicant has worked at a privately operated institution, the experience should be confirmed by a certificate from the Divisional Secretary of the area in which the institution operated.
Age Limit
Applicants should be not less than 25 years and not more than 50 years of age.
All qualifications and age requirements must be fulfilled by the closing date.
Other Requirements
Every applicant must:
- Be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- Possess the physical and mental fitness required to perform the duties of the post
- Be prepared to serve in any part of Sri Lanka
- Possess an excellent character
Selection Method
Recruitment will be made according to merit based on the results of a structured interview conducted by a board appointed by the appointing authority.
The Homoeopathic Medical Council is the appointing authority, and its decision will be final.
