Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree from a recognized university in one of the following areas:
- Communication Studies
- Media Studies
- Any other Social Science discipline
Applicants must also possess at least one year of experience in an academic and administrative capacity.
Additional Requirements
Candidates should possess:
- Fluency in English and Sinhala or Tamil
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to use internet-based and mobile communication applications
- Willingness to work flexible hours according to the requirements of the Department and Faculty
Appointment Period
The appointment will initially be offered for a period of three months.
Based on the candidate’s performance, the appointment may be extended for a maximum period of two years.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a fixed monthly allowance of Rs. 50,000, inclusive of the cost-of-living allowance.
The appointee will also be entitled to EPF and ETF benefits.
