Required Qualifications
Applicants must have obtained a proficiency certificate not below National Vocational Qualification Level 4 relevant to the duties of the Mason post.
The certificate must have been issued by a technical or vocational training institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission.
Age Limit
Applicants must be:
- Not less than 18 years of age; and
- Not more than 45 years of age.
General Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be citizens of Sri Lanka.
- Be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the position.
- Be capable of serving in any part of Sri Lanka.
- Possess excellent moral character.
Salary and Allowances
The applicable monthly salary scale is:
U-PL 3 (III): Rs.48,005 – 16 × 490 – Rs.55,845
The salary will be paid according to Management Services Circular No. 06/2025 and Commission Circular No. 02/2025 (i).
The selected candidate will also receive the Cost of Living Allowance and other approved allowances in addition to the basic salary.
Method of Selection
Selection will be conducted through:
- A trade test; and
- A structured interview.
