The English and Foreign Languages Branch of the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has invited applications from eligible candidates to establish a Resource Persons’ Pool for English Language Content Development.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to sit for a selection test as the final stage of the selection process.

English Notice
Basic Qualifications
Applicants should:
- Be between 25 and 55 years of age.
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in English, English Language Teaching (ELT), or Education with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL).
- Belong to one of the eligible professional categories specified in the notice.
The following candidates may apply:
- Sri Lanka Teacher Educators’ Service English officers
- English In-Service Advisers
- Regional English Support Centre resource persons
- Government English-language teachers
Additional Qualifications
The following will be considered added qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree in English or TESOL
- Previous experience in English-language teaching content development
- Previous experience working as a resource person
Selection and Training
Eligible applications will be shortlisted.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified and required to sit for a selection test in Colombo. This will be the final stage of the selection process.
Selected resource persons will receive training in content development. They will subsequently be invited to participate in content-development assignments conducted by the Ministry when required.

Government English-language teachers must obtain the endorsement of the relevant Zonal Director of Education before submitting their applications.
