Qualifications for External Applicants

External applicants should possess a first degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission in one of the following fields:

Engineering
Science
Management
Law
Business Administration
Public Administration
Finance

Applicants should also possess one of the following:

A Master of Science or Master of Arts degree

Associate membership in a recognized professional institution

Candidates should have knowledge and experience in vessel manufacturing, planning and business promotion.

Qualifications for Internal Applicants

Internal applicants should have completed a minimum of three years of satisfactory service in an Assistant General Manager position in the Senior Manager service category of Cey-Nor Foundation Limited.

Experience Requirement

External applicants should have at least 15 years of experience in a managerial-level position after obtaining their degree.

The required experience should have been obtained from one or more of the following:

A state corporation
A statutory board
A recognized private-sector institution

Out of the required 15 years of experience, at least three years should have been completed after obtaining the postgraduate qualification.

Age Limit

Applicants should:

Be not less than 35 years of age
Be not more than 55 years of age

Salary Scale

The applicable salary scale is:

HM 1-3 (2025): Rs. 152,500 – 15 × Rs. 4,100 – Rs. 214,000

This salary scale applies under Management Services Circular No. 01/2025.

Monthly Allowances

The selected candidate may be entitled to the following monthly allowances:

Cost-of-Living Allowance: Rs. 17,800
Professional Allowance: Rs. 25,000
Fuel Allowance: 145 litres
Vehicle Allowance: Rs. 50,000 when an institutional vehicle is not provided
Telephone Allowance: Rs. 4,250

Allowances will be paid according to the applicable regulations and institutional conditions.
